Customization has become a core part of mattresses in the last few years. Being able to choose what goes into your mattress has almost become a basic necessity, as it allows you to sleep on something that suits your body, sleeping position, sleep habits, and health needs (if any). After all, we spend one-third of our lives in bed, so it’s important that our mattress meets our personal standards.
That's why we provide you with the DIY hybrid mattress.
Hybrid mattresses usually come as is nowadays—covered and sealed. The DIY hybrid mattress breaks this norm. You put it together and customize it if need be. Add something to it, remove something from it, replace something in it—all of that is your choice thanks to the zippered cotton cover we provide. So, get your DIY hybrid mattress today—because your comfort should be Done-In-Your way!
The twin mattress is 38 inches wide and 75 inches long and comes with 1 free pillow. It is ideal for toddlers outgrowing their cribs, single adults below 6 feet tall, and guest room use.
The twin XL mattress is 38 inches wide and 80 inches long and comes with 1 free pillow. Five inches bigger than the standard twin, it is a budget mattress suitable for growing teenagers and kids, adults of average height, and guest rooms.
Pro tip - If you combine two twin XL mattresses together, you get a split king mattress (76 x 80 inches). Split king beds are great for couples who need their side of the bed to themselves.
The full-size mattress is 54 inches wide and 75 inches long and comes with 2 free pillows. It is designed for single people who require more space than the twin size provides, single people who have kids or pets, and couples who are prepared to give up legroom or have small bedrooms.
The queen mattress is 60 inches wide and 80 inches long and comes with 2 free pillows. This is where spaciousness starts, and that too at the lowest price range. The 60 x 80 queen bed is fantastic for couples who require adequate sleeping space and legroom. For single sleepers, the queen size is spacious enough to roll around and not fall off the edges.
The king mattress is 76 inches wide and 80 inches long and comes with 2 free pillows. It is ideal for couples who require a lot of sleeping space. If two individuals want to move around a lot, a king size can easily handle that. The king is also a great family bed—being able to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children at the same time.
The California king mattress is 72 inches wide and 84 inches long and comes with 2 free pillows. It is great for individuals who are pretty tall (6 ft or more), couples who want a lot of space, and a family of three. The main attraction of the Cal king bed is its length, which allows tall sleepers to have adequate leg room.
Maintaining a hybrid mattress might seem like a chore at first, but trust us, it's easier than it looks, and it'll only bring positive results. Here is how you can clean your hybrid mattress properly and how you can keep it clean afterward -
As you inspect your mattress, you will be able to see a few dust and dirt particles hanging around. The first thing you must do is remove these particles from your mattress. You can do this in two different ways - by using a vacuum or a small handheld brush. If you're using a vacuum, make sure the pressure of the suction is minimal, then aim to clean the areas you want to. If you want to use a brush, simply sweep all the dust off of the bed with gentle strokes. For maximum cleanliness, you can also make use of both of the above-mentioned methods at the same time.
If you have unwanted stains on your mattress from a liquid spillage, then you will want to get it out as soon as possible. Spot-cleaning is the recommended way to achieve this. Start by gently blotting the stain with a clean cloth or paper towel to absorb excess liquid. Then, dip a sponge or cloth into a mixture of lukewarm water and gentle detergent, avoiding harsh chemicals like bleach. Dab the stained area with the cleaning solution, working from the outside in to prevent spreading. Blot the area again with a damp cloth to rinse, then allow it to air dry completely. Check for residual stains once dry, repeating the process if needed.
Keep your mattress in a well-ventilated area once you're done with spot cleaning. There's still bound to be moisture within the mattress, and closing the routes for it to evaporate will lead to the growth of mold and other unwanted microbes. Make sure you keep the mattress away from the sun when you're drying it. Exposure to the sun's rays leads to a degradation in the integrity of the natural latex foam.
Mattress protectors are vital if you're clumsy with liquids around your mattress. A mattress protector fits like a bedsheet and doesn't compromise breathability. Protectors keep your mattress safe by making themselves the first line of defense, and they don't impair any of the mattress's good characteristics.
Airing out your mattress requires you to keep it in an area that has ventilation. The resulting breathability will remove moisture buildup and extend the lifespan of the mattress.
Vacuuming the dust, removing dirt with a brush, and spot cleaning are things that you should practice on a regular basis. If you have a mattress protector, then all you'll need to do is clean that. If any liquid spillage occurs, then you must clean it as soon as possible. Keep the mattress in good health.
Latex is a natural material sourced from the sap of rubber trees, known for its responsive bounce, cushioning, support, durability, and eco-friendly properties. It provides a supportive yet responsive feel that quickly adapts to movement, offering gentle contouring. This responsiveness also makes it easier to move on and prevents the “stuck” feeling some other materials can cause.
Compared to memory foam and other traditional mattress materials, latex is significantly more breathable. Its open-cell structure, often enhanced with perforations, allows for better airflow, making it a cooler option for hot sleepers. Additionally, latex stands out for its longevity; with proper care, a latex mattress or topper can last over a decade, maintaining steady support throughout its lifespan.
Yes. The DIY (Do It Yourself) hybrid mattress has to be assembled at home. It's a simple process that takes around 15–30 minutes and doesn't require any special tools. Here are the steps you need to assemble the DIY hybrid mattress:
You can check out our "ASSEMBLY & CARE" section on this page for more detailed information regarding the assembly process.
Yes, the DIY hybrid mattress can be used on platform beds. We recommend going for a metal or wooden platform bed frame. They're able to provide sturdy support beneath the mattress, helping improve its lifespan and qualities.
The QuadCoil® system uses top-notch steel pocketed coils with a butterfly-locking design, giving long-lasting support without the need for glue. This technology also ensures stability, durability, and eliminates noise, offering a quieter sleep surface without any “trampoline effect.”
While both of them are latex hybrid mattresses and contain organic materials, where they differ is in the material type and characteristics they offer.

Yes, the mattress comes with a zippered organic cotton cover that allows you to open it, customize layers, and adjust firmness or support as needed, creating a mattress that evolves with you over time.
No, we do not recommend using box springs for any of our organic mattresses, including the DIY hybrid mattress. Box springs can interfere with the comfort, support, and lifespan of the mattress. We recommend going for adjustable beds or platform bed frames, as they provide a sturdy base without taking anything away from the mattress's benefits.
Yes, the DIY hybrid mattress suits everyone, including side sleepers, back sleepers, stomach sleepers, and combination sleepers. Its firmness can be customized, so you're able to choose from four options - soft, medium, firm, and extra firm. Since a side sleeper usually requires cushioning for their sides and shoulders, we recommend a soft or medium firmness. Back and stomach sleepers may require a firmer mattress, as they need good support to prevent their body from sinking too much.
